Elizabeth Falk, Mother of Patient
"My son, Bradford, had his first ear infection at three months old. Then, he seemed to have an ear infection every three to four weeks. At his twelve-month check-up, the pediatrician referred him to an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat specialist), who recommended having tubes put in his ears.
His surgery was scheduled at Wayne UNC, the same hospital where Bradford was born just 13 months earlier!
Our experience at Wayne UNC was outstanding. The check-in process was a breeze, the waiting room was warm and welcoming (it resembled a coffee shop more than a waiting room), and the staff were extremely friendly. As a new mother, leaving my son to be taken into surgery was emotional, but the staff kept me abreast of Bradford’s status at every stage. I was comforted to see Bradford snuggling with one of the nurses following the surgery.
I was very pleased with the treatment we received from everyone at the hospital. I would highly recommend Wayne UNC to all my friends and family!"
