Yes, you can eat or drink as you normally would before your appointment.

Yes, please take your medications as prescribed by your doctor as you normally would on the day of your appointment.

Please bring a photo ID and insurance cards and all medications, including prescription and over the counter. It is also helpful to bring the bottles for your medications so our nurse can track how much you take and how often you take them.

If you have them, please also bring any copies of recent tests, such as stress tests or cardiac cath.

Yes, we ask patients to please stop at the registration desk to provide information and receive your identification armband before proceeding to PAT.

Our team will ask you questions about your medical history, previous surgical history, allergies, medications, any recent visits to a specialty doctor, such as a cardiologist (heart doctor) or pulmonologist (lung doctor). 

Please arrive 15-30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

Depending on the specific tests ordered by your provider, such as labs, EKG (to track your heart’s rhythm) or xrays, and your medical interview with PAT, your appointment could last between 45 minutes and two hours.
